I can't believe I forgot about this until now. My messy closet pics totally reminded me.

I start laughing and ask who's they are. He smiles and say, "Mine." Um... my macho man football player husband who likes to act like a hard ass and pretend that he has no emotions... wearing furry crocs. HAHAHA!
Apparently they were on sale and he needed some comfy around the house shoes, so these were what he deemed appropriate. Don't forget, it's warm here (in the 80's now) so he is not cold. Meaning he is walking around the house shirtless, in his boxers, with his girly fuzzy man crocs. It's awesome. If he wouldn't kill me, I'd totally post a pic, but I think I might be murdered if I do that...
I think it's fantastic.

I think it happened. I FINALLY look pregnant from all angles. These were taken last night, so I'm 17 weeks, 2 days in the pics. Don't mind the messy closet, I never claimed I was clean. :)
From the side.Looking down (my viewpoint).

Yea for not looking like I ate too much... as I sit at my desk with a bag of Hugs... YUM!

Well, not you, but most people. Because if you know me well enough to know about my blog, you're super smart. Cuz that's how I roll. I don't like stupid people. :)
Anyway, the lady in the Super Target parking lot who looks at us like we're idiots becuase we're in her way. Lady, you're the one who sped up after we were already 95% out of the parking spot and proceeded to roll up just far enough to make a 3-point turn impossible. Then you look p.o.'d when you have to back up so we can get out the rest of the way. You're the idiot here, it's not like we are going to pull back into the spot so you can go around. I'm way smarter than you!
The mean police who unnecessarily harass and ARREST the poor homeless lady outside of our building. (granted I don't know ANY details about what actually happened given I was watching through the window) But that's a non issue, she looked like a nice lady who was down on her luck, it was a public bench... PLEASE tell me what she did to deserve being arrested. And you make her walk when she is OBVIOUSLY in a wheel chair for a reason. You're obviously stupid Mr. Policeman... and I usually like cops. Boo on you for being mean.
The security guard at the park and ride who yells at people for parking on the curb. There are no "No Parking" signs and the curbs are not red and there are no fire hydrants. I CAN PARK HERE. Stop yelling at me and GO HOME. I hate you. And you're obviously stupid if you yell at people for something so ridiculous when it ISN'T illegal. So I stare at you, make sure you see me and park on the curb... cuz there is nothing you can do.
The stupid STUPID ridiculous drivers in Arizona. 99.99% of you are too stupid to be driving. Go home.
The people who price baby items. You all are bastards. It's expensive enough having a kid without you jacking up your prices to beyond ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The man at KFC who gave us a 5 minute disertation on why we should call the number on the back of the receipt to tell them how awesome he is because that is the only way he will get a raise... A novel concept really, but I don't want you giving me a nomination speech on why you deserve it. Let me judge how good your customer service skills are. And you're a bit too happy for me... go away now. I'm annoyed and pregnant and your talking is standing between me and my food. Shoo now.
Stupid people I come into contact with on a daily basis who can't follow simple and VERY CLEAR instructions. How have you succeeded in life this long? How are you still working? You are effing morons. All of you. Grr.
K, think I'm done for now. Hope you enjoy my hormonal rants.

Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.
Here is the weekly belly pic. I think I'm finally starting to look pregnant. I think I kind of popped this week, so YEA! Now that I know I have a bouncing baby boy jumping around in there it makes it all so much more real.
I started feeling him last week. It's so neat. I can't wait until I get some real kicks. Right now, it's mostly just flutters. Now that i know that his feet are on the right side of my belly, it makes sense seeing as that is where pretty much all the movement is. I'm so happy he looks healthy! Another ultrasound is scheduled for the beginning of March.
We've started looking at "stuff." Man, it's expensive. We will see how it goes, but I'm trying to convince Jimmy it's SO worth it... we'll see how that goes. He's already found a sports themed bedding set he likes. I was trying to go with minimalistic stuff for the nursery, but I might get stuck with a "ball" room. Basketballs and footballs and baseballs, oh my!

The appointment went great. Baby looks fantastic. Here is a quick looksie, see if you can make out the pics...This is baby. Head is on the left. Baby is laying face down with head on the left side of my belly.
This is our macho baby showing off the guns. You can see bicep and hand is curled into a fist on the left. On the right is the leg with a little foot on the bottom.
And, the money shot. IT'S A BOY!!! Arrow is pointing to his man parts. The ultrasound tech said she knows it's hard for us to make out what she's pointing at, but she is VERY familiar with babies and anatomy and it is DEFINITELY a boy. Jimmy's super excited. He asked me how big his balls are... My guess was the size of a pea... that didn't make him happy. I told him they grow, I promise. :)
There are a few minor issues that need to be monitored. My blood pressure is a little high, but not too bad, we just need to keep an eye on it. It went down quite a bit by the end of the appointment, I think I was just emotional over getting to stare at our baby boy for half an hour on the screen. I also have placenta previa which basically means my placenta is on the bottom of my uterus by my cervix instead of on the top where it's supposed to be. 90% of the time, it corrects itself and as the uterus grows, the placenta moves to the appropriate place. If it doesn't, I'm at higher risk of pre-term labor, bleeding, and if it's still there at the time of delivery, I will have to have a c-section. So, I have to have another ultrasound in 4 weeks to see if it's righting itself. So, let's hope that it does! More info on placenta previa can be found here.
I will post a belly pic a little later today. Yea for LITTLE BOYS!
